Smallest Android Phone: Smasung Galaxy mini 2

Smallest Android Phone Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 is just that: a budget handset that actually performs pretty well given its modest specs.

The feature list is pretty poor compared to today's bst end devices, with a 3MP camera, HVGA screen and a single core 800MHz processor. However, when you consider it will probably cost around £100, suddenly we're happy to sit up and take notice.

Samsung Galaxy Mini 2: Design

As you might expect out of an entry-level smartphone, the Smallest Android Phone Samsung Galaxy mini 2 is made out of plain old plastic. There is a chrome-like shiny bezel around its side, while the back cover sports a fine texture that adds a little bit of extra grip and keeps fingerprints at bay. So yeah, no fancy materials anywhere in sight, but thankfully, the handset looks presentable and feels properly built.

Samsung Galaxy Mini 2: Camera

On the back is a 3-megapixel camera. While that's not loads of megapixels, it's more than the Galaxy Y. Results aren't amazing, as you'd expect for this super-budget price, but theSmallest Android Phone Mini 2's Smallest Android Phone lens is superior to the Y's.

One thing to note is there's no flash on the Mini 2 Smallest Android Phone so don't expect to be able to snap your mates in the dark.
There's no auto-focus either, which is a shame. It means snaps can come out with focus in the strangest of places (i.e. the tarmac rather than your mate's awesome new sneakers). So don't expect photographic masterpieces. Cheap and cheerful is the order of the day. But at least sharing the photos or videos you take is made easy by the Android OS.

Samsung Galaxy Mini 2: Battery

The 1300 mAh removable battery lasted just over a day but because of the small screen and general processor demands, younger users will demand closer to two from this style of mobile phone. The social apps and palm sized portability are quoted as key benefits to the Smallest Android Phone Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 but both are overshadowed by a battery life in line with larger, smart mobile phone giants with a 4 inch display.

Samsung Galaxy Mini 2: Screen

Even for an entry-level device, the mini 2 Smallest Android Phone is rather well-built and feels solid in our hands. The plastic parts are nothing to write home about, but it is presentable enough for it to be seen in public without you feeling self-conscious.
Because of its compact size, all the buttons are reachable without much fiddling around, as everything is spaced out just nicely.

The mini 2’s Smallest Android Phone 3.27-inch TFT screen is a slight bump over its predecessor, but the significant improvement is that it is so much better to look at now, as it sports a HVGA display, compared to the QVGA one previously.
